This position will oversee all Environmental Health and related operations. As the Manager Health Services, your duties will include: • Lead an Environmental Health Team and Community Facilities Team. • Manage the Health Services correspondence, including analysis and assignment to officers and instruct Environmental Health Staff in the statutory aspects. • Prepare the Health Service operating budget. • Assist with the production of directorate strategic processes as required. • Identify Strategic and Statutory Health issues which affect the Shire and undertake and manage appropriate investigations, preparation and implementation of policies and studies. • Represent Council on external committees. • Undertake special projects within skill base and qualifications.
